The Trust’s expression-of-interest notice concerns conservation of the Amboni Caves limestone cave complex in Kiomoni Ward, northeastern Tanzania.
Objectives include mapping the caves and management boundaries; surveying critical flora and fauna, particularly bats; improving site security, visitor safety and amenities; and supporting a tree nursery with local farmer participation.
The proposed project timeframe is five years, with initial grants and contracts limited to two years.
